enriching school culture and displaying ourselves
recently, our school has held this cultural festival in order to deepen andintensify the construction of a harmonious and humane school.
in my opinion, the school is the place for us to study, a big classroom for“implied education” and also a platform for students to perform humanism.
the modernization of our school means magnificent buildings, modernequipments and ample schoolyard, but even the integration into them a thought—amodern concept on operating school and a distinctive school culture.
we shall fully utilize the natural environment of the school and promote “amovement of ecological culture”. by re-establishing the relation of people andthe nature, we can gradually accomplish the personality shaping with a spirit ofecology. we can integrate the construction of school culture into the richcultural essence so that every people in the school can hear birds sing, smellflowers giving forth fragrance and breathe the thick cultural flavor.
“entering a room with fragrance of orchid, we can also be sweet-smelling.”on the grassland, we paved the paths with colorful stones, which not only makewalking convenient but also add human touch to the plain grasslands. on a sunnyday with pleasant wind, sitting or lying on the grassland gives people muchjoy.
our school dotted the schoolyard with some mountain stones of variousshapes, square or round and with different postures, lying or standing.
in this way we have made changes to the virescence of our school. ourteachers gave each of these stones a name so that they can even “talk”. ourschool seems as a natural amusement park, integrating the geographical scenerieswith human and ecological ones.
under the flag to carry out the education aiming at improve students in anall-round way, we have stressed the theme of sustainable development of humanand nature, human and environment as well as human and society. we have laid agood foundation for the construction of our school. our school is like astretching picture scroll and a wordless poem.i suggest that our school todevelop a sound-control system made up of a series of famous melodies, thus allstudents can enter the classrooms and relax themselves after classes with thecheerful music.
beautiful scenery makes people feel relaxed and happy, thus it can makestudents study better with clear heads. a good school environment ensures thehealthy growing of students.
today, under the situation that shanghai is strengthening its spiritcultivation, it is of realistic significance to enhance the spiritual educationof the teachers and students and construct a humane schoolyard. first of all, weshall focus on the re-construction of environment combined with virescence.besides, we shall expand the vision of students and teachers, carry forward thetraditional chinese culture and improve the humane quality and spirit of allteachers and students.
however, the culture taste of a school and its spirit cannot be formedwithin a year or even a day. “a river is formed by drops of water and a tower isformed by piles of sands”. it needs us to make unremitting efforts and creationsunceasingly. with our distinctive feature we can surly contribute for thedevelopment of our school.
